Project Summary
A self-initiated magazine redesign project and an excuse to learn more about ancient history and print design. This issue's theme was color, inspired by recent research on polychromy in ancient Greek sculpture.
I curated writing and imagery, created a modular design system that could flex and speak to a diverse audience, and designed each article conceptually around its content. For example, art-loving audiences want visual emphasis on the art, and history buffs want to see authoritative curation.
